Shivam Bembalkar is the Co-Founder and CEO of Vāyu Energy, where he leads the company's strategy, capital formation, and project development activities.
Shivam brings more than a decade of experience across renewable energy development, project finance, and strategic transactions, with over $2 billion in capital deployed and more than 2 GW of transactions spanning power offtake, supply chain procurement, project financing, and M&A across more than 15 utility-scale renewable energy projects.
His experience spans utility-scale wind, solar, battery energy storage, and natural gas infrastructure, with projects across the Midwest, New York, Texas, California, and the Eastern United States. Shivam combines deep financial expertise with hands-on development experience, providing a comprehensive perspective on advancing projects from early-stage origination through commercialization.
Prior to co-founding Vāyu Energy, Shivam held roles at leading renewable energy firms, including Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners (CIP), Ørsted, and Marathon Capital.

Elon Hasson is the Co-Founder and Chief Development Officer of Vāyu Energy, where he leads the company's development strategy and execution across its portfolio.
Elon brings more than 20 years of renewable energy development experience across the Midwest, Southern United States, and Pacific Northwest. He has successfully led the development of more than 2 GW of greenfield utility-scale wind projects, including pioneering the first wind project to be developed and constructed in Mississippi — a milestone navigated complex permitting, regulatory, landowner, and stakeholder challenges.
Prior to Vāyu, Elon founded and led a renewable energy consulting firm providing strategic development advisory services to utility-scale renewable energy developers, supporting projects from early-stage origination through construction readiness. Prior to this, he held senior leadership roles with E.ON, EDPR, Onyx Renewable Partners, and ICF, where he led the development of utility-scale wind and renewable energy projects across multiple U.S. power markets.

Scott Biggar serves as Development Director at Vāyu Energy, where he manages project development execution across the company's growing portfolio.
Scott brings a decade of experience developing utility-scale renewable energy projects across North America, with expertise spanning project origination, land acquisition, permitting, stakeholder engagement, engineering coordination, and construction readiness. Prior to Vāyu, Scott built Liberty Renewables into one of New York's leading wind developers, overseeing a 500+ MW pipeline of utility-scale onshore wind projects and a team of 10+ development professionals. Scott was instrumental in the successful sale of Liberty Renewables to Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners (CIP), where he continued leading the portfolo through a seamless transition.
Prior to Liberty, Scott held roles with Natural Forces, CanACRE, and CarbonCure Technologies. He holds a Master's degree in Resource and Environmental Management from Dalhousie University.

Ben is currently the CEO and co-founder of Monarch Energy, a powered land development firm. Previously, Ben has worked at some some of the largest energy development companies, including: Enel Green Power, Orsted and Coronal-Panasonic. His work focused on roles in engineering, project development, corporate development, M&A and power marketing.
Ben has most enjoyed creating value from untouched land and partnering with local communities to bring projects to life.
